Paul N. Montague III, EA

Paul has years of experience to guide your success.

Prior to starting Paul Montague Tax Preparation, LLC, Paul spent more than 11 years learning about the needs of small business owners through his work with the Vancouver Chamber of Commerce, Identity Clark County, the Battle Ground Chamber of Commerce, and two years doing tax preparation work for A-1 Income Tax and H&R Block.  Paul understands the tax preparation needs of the small business owner and is committed to the needs of each business and individual tax client.

Working for more than 9 years in the income tax preparation business, Paul has come to appreciate the complexities and subtleties of each individual’s tax return.  Paul views each tax return as something of a puzzle, uncovering and pulling together the pieces of each client’s life over the prior tax year, and assembling them together into a completed picture which is then filed as their tax return.  Just as no puzzle is complete without all the pieces, no return is complete without all of its elements.

Paul holds a master's degree in Communications Management from the Annenberg School of Communications, University of Southern California, Los Angeles, and a bachelor's degree in Speech Communication, Economics and Computer Science from North Carolina State University, Raleigh.

Paul has served on the Columbia Credit Union’s Board of Directors and Supervisory Committee, the Fort Vancouver Regional Library Foundation Board, the Evergreen Habitat for Humanity Board of Directors and is Past-President of the Rotary Club of Greater Clark County. Paul is a member of the Hazel Dell Salmon Creek Business Association Board of Directors, and volunteers in the Hazel Dell Parade of Bands, and his church.
